Assertiveness and establishing personal boundaries are essential for building healthy relationships, achieving personal and professional goals, and maintaining overall well-being. Strengthening these skills can boost confidence, self-respect, and control over your life.

These skills can be learned, improved, and practiced. Communication techniques are available to guide and encourage you in developing an assertive mindset.

Duration: 1 day

Group size: 10 – 15 participants

Methods and Tools:

The training is interactive, following adult learning principles. Over 80% of the session is hands-on, using practical exercises and experiential learning—both individually, in small groups, and in larger group settings. Practical exercises in assertive communication allow you to see immediate progress during the training.

Skills You Will Gain:

Define assertiveness and distinguish it from other communication styles

Apply assertive communication techniques (e.g., “I” statements, three-part sentences, active listening) in simulated scenarios

Demonstrate increased confidence in expressing your needs and feelings through practical exercises

Show the ability to set clear and confident personal boundaries in different contexts
